LEAD TRAINING PROFESSIONAL

We are seeking a strategic, motivated and creative Training Lead to join our Global Nike Athlete Experience (NAX) Training & Experience Team. This role will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, designing, developing, and delivering retail-facing training content, resources and materials that will equip our global Nike stores and partners with product-focused training to serve, sell and differentiate Nike in the marketplace.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This individual is a key member of our Product and Experience Training Team reporting directly to the Director, Product and Experience Training. They will partner closely with all Global Nike Athlete Experience functions (Functional Training, Product and Experience, Selling and Service, Areas of Expertise, and On Demand Learning) to develop training material. They will work cross-functionally with other retail-supporting Global Stores’ teams, and our retail partners, to discover and design identified training content in multiple formats.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Training Lead will join a fast-paced team to plan, design, and deliver impactful training materials for retail associates across critical learning moments including: onboarding, seasonal training, and building ongoing expertise in Nike Products + Services to drive results across Nike global. You will support a variety of focus areas across footwear, apparel and signature services . You will manage the end-to-end process of determining training priorities, building a seasonal product training strategy, identifying and building training deliverables across multiple formats, including digital, in-person experiences and resources. You will organize and participate in meetings to gather the right content and translate information into creative and impactful training – both digital and analog. A keen sense of inquiry and the ability to distill complex information into its most critical pieces for the end user are essential. You will bring creative ideas to continuously evolve and innovate retail training.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Business, Adult learning, Instructional Design,
English/Writing or a related field and/or minimum of 5+ years directly relevant work experienceExperience working with a global, large-scale organization a plus.Retail experience preferred.Experience building and executing end-to-end learning solutions from strategy to deliveryAbility to lead and influence othersExperience developing and designing training content in multiple formats and lengths for multiple platformsProficiency with instructional design software (Articulate, Camtasia, Canva, Captivate etc.)Video editing and graphic design skills a plus.Excellent written communication skills and ability to influence across various leadership levels.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital/mobile learning toolsAttention-to-detail, multitasking ability, and desire to excel in a fast-paced environment.Ability to connect training material to business results and key performance indicators.Proficiency with Keynote and Microsoft Office products

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Develop scalable and sustainable learning materials for global Nike employees, both written and digital.Develop seasonal training strategies, define seasonal deliverables, and build engaging instructional materials, covering aspects of service and selling, operations, and product focuses.Create interactive activities designed to enhance learning experience and evaluate understanding.Analyze quantitative and qualitative inputs to determine seasonal training priorities and approachesAssist in the maintenance of Nike’s Learning Management Systems (LMS).Produce high-quality work with proven ability to meet aggressive deadlines with competing project timelines.Collaborate and communicate effectively with teammates and cross-functional team members to gather content to inform accuracy in training materialsReview, revise and update Nike training materials, ensuring they are clear, concise, and relevant for current business objectives.Manage product and services learning library to ensure accuracy and relevance Develop subject-matter knowledge and expertise for assigned content areas.
