**Title:** Lead, Sheetmetal **Location:** United States-Illinois-Rockford **Job Number:** 15871 SUMMARY Work on all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc. Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork to ensure safety and timely delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • High proficiency in all minor through major repairs, modifications, E.A.s, etc. • Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 15 mechanics. • Effectively interact with customer representatives. • Highly proficient in locating/reading/interpreting technical data and drawings to locate parts/materials/fasteners/installation requirements to accomplish fabrication and repairs. • Must possess/display expertise and ability to perform advanced sheetmetal techniques (i.e. large scale damage removal, major structural member removal/installation, aircraft shoring, cold working). • Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards. • Effectively direct the work of less experienced mechanics. • Able to understand and adhere to the company’s safety policies and procedures. • All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), required. • Must have a minimum of 5-years of aviation experience that includes major repair/modification. • FAA Airframe (A) license, required. May or may not have a (P) license.
