The Mission of Rady Children's Behavioral Health Urgent Care is to provide prompt access to crisis intervention support and linkage to community resouces. To support the safety and stabilization of youth in the Mid-City region in a way that reduces emergency room visists and hospitalizations. Rady Children's Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) serves youth ages 5-21 struggling with concerns that pose an imminent risk to their safety, the safety of others, or significantly impair their daily lives. Services offered at BHUC include safety assessments during walk-in hours (4pm-8pm; Monday-Friday), short-term return visits for continued stabilization for up to 6 weeks after initial safety assessment and psychiatrict medication services for scheduled return visits.
JOB SUMMARY:
Lead, Social Worker II Provides clinical oversight to members of the social work team including individual and peer case consultation and feedback, and in-service training, as needed. Provides direct service provision for children and families; assists in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external customers (i.e. hospital and community partners).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
3 Years of Experience
State of California license LCSW; or LMFT
Computer skills sufficient to train and oversee quality of data entry and electronic charting, utilize program compliance reports, and produce program forms, educational materials, and visual presentations.
Prior experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, lead others and train team members.
Experience in assessment and treatment of children and adolescents
CA Driver's License and Auto Insurance: Kids and Teens in Court (KTIC)-Chadwick
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4 Years of Experience
Experience working in mental or behavioral health setting
Knowledge of evidence-based practices utilized in clinical interventions
One year experience in a leadership role
The expected hiring range for this position is $41.49 to $57.05
