We are looking for a manager for the Embedded OS Platform engineering team which delivers the platform-specific foundation underlying the Unity engine. The team supports Embedded Linux (e.g. Yocto), QNX, and Android solutions. The manager will drive the highest quality standards, including maintaining our ISO 9001 certification.

This role combines technical leadership with people management. The right person will help us develop and retain high-quality engineering talent. What you'll be doing

Own and drive the technical strategy for the teamWork closely with Product Management to develop the embedded OS platform layer which scales across various operating systemsCollaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Solutions teams to deliver a performant platform that meet customer requirementsSupport the members of your engineering team as they advance in their career goalsCommunicate your team’s vision and progress internally and externallyThis role will include interaction with customer and partner engineering teams

What we're looking for

Experience coaching and managing an effective software engineering teamExperience with Embedded solutions, platforms, and operating systemsWorking familiarity with C++ and Linux
