Lead, Infrastructure and Integration Software Engineer

Job Description:

L3Harris is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Senior Software Engineer with extensive knowledge in the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and Modern Server Infrastructure to lead our dynamic software and systems development teams. The selected candidate would be a key contributor to a consortium of industry leaders and provide a direct impact on the product. The selected candidate will work alongside subject matter experts from various technical backgrounds and act as the bridge between disciplines. The selected candidate will work with many technologies and participate in the integration of the many complex interfaces and applications.

Essential Functions: 

Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of DevSecOps practices and procedures.Contribute to the ever expanding CI/CD pipelines that support the infrastructure for our automated hardware deployments.Perform the building and maintenance of a modern server infrastructure in various security levels.Responsible for customer interfacing to ensure inputs and needs are communicated to the project managers on programmatic and technical deliverables.Provide documentation and instructions on any process developed for the purpose of shared responsibilities.Perform demonstrations of major milestones and product increments to stake holders and other teams.Provide expertise in many different components and processes of the product’s lifecycle.Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: 

Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6-9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10-13 years of prior related experience. Relevant experience with Platform as a Service (Paas).Experience with CSP hardware.Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.Experience working with software and hardware teams and associated Agile environment processes.Experience with automation tools.Experience with container orchestration technologies.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Experience with Hashicorp products.Experience with automation tolls such as Ansible.Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, RKE2, BigBang Argo, Terraform, Flux, and Helm.Experience with Agile.Prior software development experience with Python, Go, Linux.Experience in secure environments. Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)
