In alignment with the Nike brand, our North America Brand Planning & Operations Team strives to shape the brand through distinctive, emotive, and impactful stories and experiences that lead the future of sport.

As the Lead you will be a member of the NA Brand Marketing Operations team, specifically the Consumer Planning & Operations team. As part of the North America Brand Marketing (NABM) organization, our team works cross-functionally to activate marketing programs that help propel the brand and the business into the future. We are responsible for bringing strategic vision, organization, clarity, and process excellence to deliver maximum consumer impact. We enable this by creating the time and space required for organizational brilliance through scalable, shared services to support the full marketing organization, driving accountability in planning, timing, and finance while embracing creativity and innovation as we deliver elevated brand standards. Our combined, end-to-end team will provide the organizational capability and uphold the operational rigor needed to drive marketing excellence.

You have experience leading marketing teams to develop brand marketing plans in a cross-functional marketing offense. You will help define and align our brand priorities in North America, in partnership with the NA Sport Brand Marketing Leadership Team and other critical functions across the enterprise. You will be responsible for ensuring the team is running effectively, and efficiently delivering according to Nike’s seasonal and long-term marketing objectives. You are part of the North America Sports Brand management leadership team, partnering to establish and lead brand planning, operational best practices, and expertise. The candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and an expert at brand strategy and organizational management They are the conduit to internal functional partners, establishing and upholding these relationships. They are organized and curious, continually forward-thinking, overseeing marketing strategy to meet the ever-changing marketplace. They have a strong desire to lead and evolve the way we work to truly shape the brand for the consumer.

What you will work on

As a Consumer Planning and Operations Lead, you will manage the development of Men’s & Women’s Sport Brand Strategy, Annual Operating Plan, Seasonal Priorities, Marketing Plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews.

You will be an expert in our Consumer Code and OneMarketing processes, ensuring clarity in our brand direction, consistent measurement of our brand performance to fuel continuous Improvement and enable our priorities to be resourced including the development of budgets to meet business goals.

You will craft the development and execution of end-to-end marketing initiatives by providing operational efficiency, thought partnership, and process management tools to drive impact and deliver upon our brand strategies.

Who you will work with

Reporting directly to the Men’s Director of Consumer Planning and Operations, with dotted line reporting to the Men’s & Women’s Senior Directors, Sport Brand Management in North America. You are the key strategic and operational partner to these leaders and will drive a cross-functional team and the end-to-end seasonal process. Your primary cross-functional business partners include Brand Management, Digital, Integrated Media, Retail, Partners, and City teams, while working closely with Brand Creative & Production and Program Development and Capabilities on our end-to-end brand marketing process to ensure that our work aligns with our strategy and serves our business goals.

What you bring

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5-6+ years’ experience in a creative, fast-paced, and complex marketing environment. (Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law +3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 years; HS Diploma + yrs)

A committed personal passion for storytelling

A strategic attitude with innovative problem-solving skills

Deep expertise in Brand Management and Marketing Strategy with experience driving an end-to-end integrated marketing process

Expertise in Finance, Data/Analytics and Consumer Insights is a plus

Expertise in building and handling marketing budgets to meet business goals

Proven ability to use consumer insights and industry trends to shape actionable strategies

Proven ability to manage sophisticated processes and drive alignment across marketing teams

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment, with a diverse group of individuals and talents, strong collaboration skills
