Training Lead – Weekend Shift  

Schedule: Friday – Sunday; 5AM – 5:30PM

Pay: $18.50/hr + 6.25% Shift Differential ($19.65/hr)

What will you do?

A day in the life of an Training Lead at VF looks a little like this.

Under the general direction of the shift supervisor, this person will be an active leader for employees. The Distribution lead will assist the supervisor in the execution of facility operations to meet production within their department to reach operational goals.

Ability to pro-actively plan, schedule, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, design, and facilitate training programsResponsible for welcoming, onboarding and training new hires on safety/processing proceduresReview SOPs and update them when procedures changeAssist the training supervisor with coaching new hires on performance and remedial training as needed.Leading, communicating, coaching, and motivating, individuals and the shift team to meet and/or exceed day-to-day quality, efficiency, and organizations objectives. Deliver the training sessions or programs using their comprehensive knowledge of the subject.Assists in driving the success of peak and non-peak training plans

What do you need to succeed?

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 2 years related to production, warehouse and/or distribution center environment.  Past leadership experience directing workflow and/or leading a group of employees.Ability to interact well with all levels of employees. Detailed oriented, organized, and effective at time management.  Must be able to lead and train a high-performance team and achieve results and team goals. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction. Excellent oral/written communication skills in English Computer knowledge and experience using RF scanners.Must have the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.  Must be able to work overtime and on opposing shifts as assigned; may be called on off hours.Ability to stand for entire shift and walk around the warehouse.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.

 There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

Familiarization with PKMS system.

Years of related professional experience: 2 years

Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

Hiring Range:

$18.00 USD - $22.50 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
