Role: Lead .NET Developer / Architect
Location: Frisco TX (Must be 5 days a week onsite)
Term: 12 Month Contract (possible extension)
Target Pay: $80hr W2
Job Summary:
We are seeking a .NET Application Architect / Lead Engineer with deep Azure expertise (5+ years recent) to design, develop, and lead the implementation of enterprise-grade applications within a SAFe Agile environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, requiring a strategic thinker who can architect solutions, drive development, and effectively communicate with business leaders.
The ideal candidate is a driver and a leader—someone who takes ownership, collaborates effectively, and ensures technical solutions align with business goals. Strong presentation skills, time management, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities** **:**
+ Architect & Develop Solutions: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable .NET applications and cloud-based APIs using Microsoft Azure.
+ Azure Cloud Leadership: Utilize Azure App Services, API Management, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure SQL, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to optimize cloud performance.
+ Technical Leadership: Serve as a hands-on leader, providing guidance, enforcing coding best practices, and mentoring development teams.
+ Business & Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with business leaders, ensuring technology solutions align with organizational objectives.
+ SAFe Agile Execution: Work within a SAFe Agile framework, contributing to program increment (PI) planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for Azure security, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards (FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust Architecture).
+ CI/CD & DevOps: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient software delivery.
+ Full-Stack Development: Lead development efforts using C#, REST APIs, OIDC, SAML, JSON, and frontend frameworks (Angular/React) as needed.
**Qualifications** **:**
+ 7+ years of experience in .NET development, including 5+ years of recent Azure cloud experience.
+ Strong hands-on expertise with Azure services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
+ Proven ability to lead and drive technical initiatives while remaining hands-on with development.
+ Strong business acumen—ability to engage and communicate with executives and stakeholders effectively.
+ Deep understanding of SAFe Agile methodologies, with experience participating in PI planning and Agile ceremonies.
+ Expertise in security best practices for cloud deployments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
+ Excellent presentation, leadership, and time management skills—able to drive projects forward efficiently.
