3D\nPrint Lab Technician

Our Avionics\nPlatform COE team within Honeywell Electronic Solutions has an\nopportunity for a 3D Print Lab Technician, whether you have experience in 3D\nPrinting or have to passion for engineering and interest in transitioning into 3D Printing for the 1st time. 

You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with\nengineering and product development teams, contributing to the creation of\ninnovative solutions in the fast-paced and cutting-edge field of avionics and\naerospace technology.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining\nour 3D Print Lab and supporting our engineering team in various tasks, ensuring\nhigh-quality output for a wide range of aerospace applications. Your\nresponsibilities will include being the focal point for the 3D Print Lab,\ncoordinating and fulfilling 3D Print requests, maintaining organizational\nmetrics, assisting with procurement and shipping, and ensuring the proper\nmaintenance of our 3D Printers.

Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the focal point for our 3D Print Lab,\nensuring its smooth operation and efficiency.Maintain organizational metrics to track and improve the performance of the 3D\nPrint Lab.Assist with procurement and shipping tasks, ensuring timely delivery of\nrequired materials.Coordinate 3D Print requests from various teams, ensuring accurate and timely\nexecution.Maintain and troubleshoot 3D Printers to ensure their optimal performance.Provide\nQuotation Estimate and Build Time to customersU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVEHigh School DiplomaExperience in Engineering, with technician experience being highly desirable.WE VALUEBasic insight into SAP tools/processes is a plus.Background in hardware avionics is a plus.Familiarity with Avionics products and processes is a plusInsight into engineering practices.Good communication skills to effectively work with team members.Strong customer focus to meet the needs of internal and external customers.Ability to manage different priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced\nenvironment.Insight into Health, Safety, and Environmental Requirements.
