Aluminum Lead
Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time.
Working knowledge of the specific practices and methods in Aluminum heat exchanger assembly.
Ability to read and understand job routings, shop drawings, and blueprints.
Knowledge of properties of the metals and related materials used in Aluminum heat exchangers.
Skill in using and maintaining aluminum core production tools and equipment.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and the ability to follow safe work practices.
Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
Ability to lead by example, gain respect from Team and communicate with clarity while demonstrating excellence in approach to work and people activities.
Strong PC skills and experience of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Understanding of production costs to include waste, downtime, scrap, and re-work.
Additional Training and Personal Development – Willingness to learn more. This includes both internal and external training opportunities as necessary and applicable.
Experiential: Three or more years of manufacturing experience, required as a lead/supervisor.
Education: Related technical training (high school or beyond) is desirable but not essential.
o Experience will be considered in lieu of college or associate degree.
Certificates, Licenses: Forklift operator certification and driver’s license.
