Lead Activities Aide - PACE/Elderplace

This position will be working onsite and some traveling to see patients in the Washington county area.

Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in a broad program of recreational services appropriate for the participants of Providence ElderPlace.

Providence ElderPlace is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible through clinics, home visits and more. Join our team to help empower elders in your community to live active, independent lives.

Required Qualifications: 

In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position. Fingerprinting may be required also upon hire.  Experience leading therapeutic group activities, discussions, etc.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree - Recreational Therapy, Creative Arts Therapies or related fields. Coursework/Training - Activity professional certification Experience in participant assessments and care planning.
