Lead Activities Aide - PACE/Elderplace

Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in a broad program of recreational services appropriate for the participants of Providence ElderPlace. This position may work evenings and weekend at ElderPlace Housing sites based upon the needs of residents at each site.

Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Join our team to help empower elders in your community to live active, independent lives.

Required qualifications:

Required upon hire: In compliance with company policy and state regulations, a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check may be required for this position based upon the location of the position. Fingerprinting may be required also Experience in participant assessments and care planning

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy or Occupational Therapy Coursework/Training on working with cognitively impaired adults, frail elderly, and/or adults with mental and emotional disabilities Experience leading therapeutic group activities, discussions, etc.
