Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Lead Administrative Assistant** through **01/15/2025** at **11:59 p.m.** **Central Time.**
The Lead Administrative Assistant reports to the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Strategic Planning and Operations (SPO) General Manager and provides administrative support to the SPO organization. This position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail. Job responsibilities include maintaining calendars, coordinating meetings and special events, arranging domestic and international travel, and following up on team actions. Confidentiality in this role is paramount.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
**Office Support/Coordination:**
Ensure requests from GM and team are handled promptly. Ensure action items and deadlines are met for various internal and external committees.
Maintain communication with the HSE leadership team and SPO staff. Communicate effectively with Chevron contacts and external organizations.
Collaborate well with internal leadership teams and their office support.
Builds and maintains networks within Chevron and external organizations.
Continuously update technical skills (e.g., OneDrive, OneNote, MS Teams). Role modeling technology usage in daily tasks.
Handle special projects, as requested.
**Calendar and Travel Management:**
Manage calendar and schedule, coordinate logistics for meetings and events. Coordinate domestic and international travel, prepare detailed itineraries. Provide background information for meetings and trips. Track business travel requirements such as passports, visas, and immunizations. Assist team with tracing expenses and compiling expense reports.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 5 years administrative experience. Must be able to handle all activities with a high level of confidentiality, initiative, and independence.
+ Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task, anticipate needs and requirements.
+ Relocation Options: Relocation is not offered for this role. Only local candidates will be considered.
