As a Lead Advanced Residential Support Staff, you will be responsible for leading staff and clients through their shift successfully. You will ensure that all shift tasks are assigned and completed while working closely with leadership and the activities coordinator to develop and implement schedules and activities for youth. You will be a key member of our team, promoting a safe and transformative environment for both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate interactions and ensure the program is a safe haven for therapeutic transformation.
Support staff and youth by helping to identify strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
Supervise staff and youth, ensuring the effective implementation of therapeutic treatment plans and program expectations.
Model positive behaviors and encourage development of healthy life skills including homework, chores, food preparation, recreation, and individualized treatment goals.
Participate in meetings and shift changes to ensure smooth operations.
Lead group meetings or interactions as assigned by leadership.
Communicate with leadership to ensure youth needs are addressed, including clothing, supplies, and inventory.
Implement crisis prevention and management techniques as needed.
Administer medications as required, following medical team guidelines.
Transport youth to school, community outings, and appointments.
Serve as a role model, promoting an environment that fosters hope, motivation, and resilience.
Supervise, plan, and adapt activities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with experience in Human Services or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field is preferred.
Reliable transportation and collision insurance to cover transport of clients.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of confidentiality laws governing the treatment of substance use and mental health disorders.
Ability to establish rapport with clients and communicate effectively.
Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Ability to contribute to curricula development.
