**Job Title: Aircraft Component Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Component Mechanic to lead the maintenance and repair of aircraft components. The ideal candidate will ensure all work is performed efficiently and in accordance with federal and OSHA regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the maintenance and repair of aircraft components, ensuring compliance with regulations.
+ Develop and maintain detailed records for maintenance, repairs, inspections, and services.
+ Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components to identify and address issues.
+ Utilize technical manuals, specifications, and engineering documents for correct procedures.
+ Supervise the installation of new or replacement parts.
+ Perform or oversee the repair of sheet metal components.
+ Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing expert guidance.
+ Maintain detailed documentation of all inspections, repairs, and reassembly processes.
+ Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with regulations and safety guidelines.
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to junior mechanics.
+ Perform additional related duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5 years minimum aircraft maintenance experience.
+ MRO or 145 experience required.
+ Extensive knowledge of aircraft parts, systems, and mechanics.
+ Ability to lead and train others in identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing components.
+ In-depth understanding of tools, equipment, and testing methods.
+ Strong ability to interpret and apply technical manuals, schematics, and guidelines.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A&P license.
+ FAA Drug Test and BG Check

**Work Environment**
The work environment includes air-conditioned facilities with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7/8am to 4/5pm. This position may offer flexibility based on company needs. It is a contract-to-hire role, with potential direct hire around 6 months, depending on performance and attitude.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00
