What you will be doing
The Lead Analyst, Partnership Growth will be a strong individual contributor supporting the Marketplace Partnerships team in eCommerce reporting to the Manager, Partnership Analytics. The lead analyst will utilize customer and market data to help determine the competitiveness of Albertsons’ third-party marketplace business. They will partner cross-functionally with Finance and across the Marketplace Partnerships team to find opportunities to improve customer experience from order to delivery while improving profitability and top-line sales growth.
The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA, or one of our main regional offices.
Main responsibilities
Leverage customer insights and market data to help determine the competitiveness of Albertsons’ third-party marketplace business Build a comprehensive understanding of household acquisition, engagement, and retention across all third-party marketplace platforms, and identify opportunities to improve customer lifecycle management Contribute to shaping the customer value proposition for marketplace partnerships, with particular emphasis on setting pricing policies and defining promotional strategies over partner platforms Improve loyalty linkage across third-party partners, leveraging partner transactional data to deepen the enterprise-wide relationship with marketplace customers Improve the fulfillment experience for marketplace customers through a focus on reducing order lead times, improving item findability, and driving on-time performance Identify new areas of growth within existing partner relationships, expanding beyond core grocery into categories including (but not limited to) catering/food service, floral, alcohol, and others Improve the profitability of marketplace partnerships through a focus on reducing Albertsons and partner operating expenses, while exploring new avenues for shared revenue growth Create a test-and-learn culture to unlock value and drive continuous improvement within the partnership customer experience Communicate insights and recommendations in a succinct and easy-to-understand manner to senior leadership, to gain consensus to drive desired change.The salary range is $95,400.00 to $119,100.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). What we are searching for
4-year Degree in a quantitative field such as Information Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Analytics, Operations Research; Masters preferred. Strong proficiency in SQL and a relevant database platform (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.) Minimum 4+ years working experience in data analysis or web analytics; experience in eCommerce retail or management consulting is preferred Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, and Dashboarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) for data manipulation, analysis, and charting Knowledge of Python/R is preferred Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and influence across teams and across levels Ability to frame problems, dive deep into analyzing complex data sets, evaluate implications and communicate insights. Experience in financial modeling and business analytics, with demonstrated self-sufficiency and a proven track record of close collaboration with dedicated finance and business teams Aptitude for strategic thinking and problem solving in a fluid environment Exceptional at prioritizing and focusing on the highest value opportunities Ability to stay goal-oriented and act with a sense of urgency Exceptional networking and relationship building skills.What is it like at Albertsons?
