THE OPPORTUNITY

The Lead Analyst, People Data provides critical support to the business around issues of organizational health and is responsible creative storytelling to help influence People-related business decisions. As a Lead Analyst you'll be a strategic and critical thinker, detail-oriented and conscientious, analytical and curious. You're a strong problem-solver, a creative storyteller who uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to get things done.

This role involves interpreting and overseeing large amounts of People data and collaborating with functional leaders at all levels of the organization. Your position will work with several systems, dashboards and reports to provide thorough data analytics and drive crucial decision-making. The suitable candidate will have experience within the human resources field, data analytics and ideally technology implementation/design. Additionally, you must be able to design engaging presentations that communicate complex ideas in an easy to understand manner.


WHAT YOU’LL DO


In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Apply your expertise in data & quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers and translate complex business issues into actionable insights.Partner with stakeholders to identify business problems and translate them into functional requirements.Grow strong relationships within your assigned HR and cross-functional stakeholder groups, develop a deep understanding of their current business challenges, and proactively seek out ways to add value through data analysis.Drive adoption and usage of current and future People Analytics solutions. Inform requirements for analytics solutions roadmap and future enhancements based on your ongoing stakeholder feedback.Oversee and interpret People data, metrics, and statistics from multiple sources, and apply this data to make recommendations related to our HR functions, including recruitment, restaurant field operations, total rewards, and compliance.Strategically think about People data and how we might improve/iterate existing systems and tools.Provide strategic and technical leadership for analytics projects and support work. Present, explain and discuss results of analyses concisely and effectively to drive fact-based decision making at all levels within the organization. Leverage external benchmarking on key metrics and analytics practices. Function in an independent manner, displaying critical thinking to meet deadlines and deliverables.Assist the team with ad-hoc projects, analyses and support as needed.

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Human Resources preferred.5-8 years of experience as an HR Analyst or in a similar role.Expertise in implementing/designing HRIS systems like Workday, and analytics tools such as Workday Prism and Power BI.Ability to interpret and simplify complex data into accessible, impactful insights.Skilled in creative storytelling, presenting data through compelling visuals, presentations, and charts.Experience working effectively with cross-functional leaders and managing tight deadlines.Strong ability to manage and deliver short- and long-term projects.Excellent judgment, decision-making, and prioritization skills.Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.Strong communication skills and professional presence, with the ability to collaborate with executives and business partners at all levels.Ability to travel up to 25%

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $111,000.00–$154,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
