Our team in **Austin, TX (or Alpharetta, GA)** is looking for a **Senior Strategic Pricing and Contracts Analyst.** Working in support of the Medical Devices US Sales Division, the Enterprise Accounts Senior Strategic Pricing and Contracts Analyst will interface with Sales, Sales Management, Enterprise Accounts Sales personnel, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, OEC and Legal to apply business management principles and financial concepts that maximize the company’s performance against sales and profit goals and minimize risk. **What You’ll Do:** + Partner with Enterprise Accounts field teams to develop pricing strategy for both national and regional health care systems spanning 25-150+ hospitals within GPO and / or IDN. + Provide pricing analysis, P&L impact, contract development and execution for large customers. + Work within guidelines for contract approval, pricing approval and contract creation. Seek approvals when outside of guidelines. + Possess a sense of urgency and ability to work under customer driven deadlines. This includes the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. + Negotiate contractual terms with internal and external customers. + Lead planning calls with CSEs, RSDs and AVPs in multiple divisions to prepare RFP responses, gain alignment on pricing strategy and analytics and review strategy for Price Council. + Assists with training of fellow employees and participate in special projects. + Owns contract creation from start to finish, utilizing internal and customer templates and creation of custom language. + Review and redline contract terms and coordinate with Legal and other departments on contract redlines. + Execution of formal requests for proposals (RFP)s/(RFI)s. + Understanding GPO contractual obligations and the impacts they have on various contracting processes and product launches. + Apply critical thinking skills and problem solve to arrive at a viable solution when challenged with complex situations and customer requests. + Must be able to work in a team environment and with diverse workstyles. **Education and Experience You’ll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience + 5+ years of experience in business, finance or strategic pricing and contracting preferred. + Excellent written and oral communications skills with attention to detail. + Proficient in the use of Word and PowerPoint and have advanced skills in Excel. + Strong strategic and problem-solving skills required. + Strong quantitative & qualitative analysis, including experience working with large data sets. + Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with remote sites & business partners including building relationship with sales personnel to be highly effective. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously **JOB FAMILY:** Sales Support & Administration **DIVISION:** MD Medical Devices **LOCATION:** United States > Austin: 8701 Bee Caves Rd or Alpharetta: 3650 Mansell Rd **ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:** **WORK SHIFT:** Standard **TRAVEL:** Yes, 10 % of the Time **MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:** Not Applicable **SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:** Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day), Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day) Abbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities/Women/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans.
