Qualified candidates will be planning and executing a variety of methodologies as part of the concept stage in the overall project development of networks; Creating prototypes and models; Researching, planning and developing project strategies; Coordinating the full life cycle of network projects using Linux, Red Hat, CentOS, Unix, VMWare, RAID, Sun Solaris, and Bash; Developing and implementing fiber-based storage networking devices; Deploying virtualized and bare metal servers using UNIX kickstart process and VM templates; Designing, deploying, configuring, engineering, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (data center and campus) with Arista and Cisco hardware/products; Building automation tools to enable HP iLO out-of-band interfaces using Linux; Creating network standards and ensuring that the network is deployed to these standards; Participating in the development and enhancement of network security policies and protocols; Overseeing the implementation of test validations of the networks; Ensuring the optimization of the developed networks; Performed root cause analysis of problems; and Producing project documentation and reports.
