Lead Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standardsProvide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze dataEnsure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managedProvide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviewsAssist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supportedStrategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge and understanding of market research and analysis Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Collaborative, team-focused attitude 5+ years of experience in Customer/ Marketing / Sales Analytics  Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SAS, QlikView, etc


Job Expectations:

8-10+ years of experience in data, reporting, analytics or a combination of two; or a MS/MA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis 8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL especially in Oracle, SQL Server & Teradata environment5+ years of experience in Tableau/PowerBI - creating solutions with aid of data visualization. This includes but not limited to developing and creating BI dashboards, working on end to end reports, deriving insights from dataHands on experience in ETL development using Alteryx, or SSIS or any ETL toolsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillGood data interpretation and presentation skillsWillingness/ability to take ownership of a projectExceptionally fast learner, able to reach non-trivial SME level under tight deadlinesHigh energy, can-do attitude, self-directed, pro-active, self-starter who excels in an environment with limited supervisionLead in managing multiple complex exercises in various stages simultaneouslyLead in managing internal customer expectations while adhering to internal SLA timeframes
