Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time LEAD Anesthesia Technologist for anesthesiology department at Morristown Medical Center to work 3:00PM-11:00PM including on-call and weekends (as needed). 

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

Performs duties under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider.  Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.  Performs first level maintenance of anesthesia equipment.  Provides direct supervision and training of staff.  Participates in the development and revisions of job-related functions.  Provides support and feedback to staff in order to coordinate daily responsibilities.  Serve as a role model and facilitator to the department. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent required. Graduate from an approved ASATT school preferred. American Heart Association CPR certification required. To provide a safe environment to our patients, we require that all candidates must be able to read, write and speak English. BLS certification required.

Relevant Experience:

2 years of healthcare experience as Anesthesia Technician preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

License/Certification:

Certification from American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologist school preferred.
