Job DescriptionThe Lead Applications Analyst will be responsible for defining, developing, and supporting SAP SD/Order Management applications and related integrations at FBIN. This role is responsible for helping maintain our SAP Order Management systems and processes as well as implementing enhancements working closely with business stakeholders and other IT associates.
Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. RESPONSIBLIITIES:
What you will be doing
As a Senior level SAP ECC IT Analyst works on the SAP ABAP a technical lead as well as hands on developer role with primary emphasis on SD moduleLeverage investment in SAP ECC platform to optimize order to cash processes, with a bias towards standard SAP solutions.Manage ongoing support and maintenance of SD module, processes, and capabilitiesProvide day-to-day system and application support including user setup, management, and training.Implement new application systems, modifications to existing systems by implementing new enhancements and production support maintenanceTranslate business requests and requirements into clear and effective reporting.Assist in the design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment of system configuration changes, workflows, process extensions, and events.Promote improvement of internal processes/systems through analysis and team collaboration with business stakeholders.Facilitate upgrades, patching, and new module implementations.Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems issuesLeverage IT governance processes to ensure proper project definition, socialization and control. Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.Manage risk through corporate complianceCoordinate and support managed services/external resources and priorities. QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years’ experience with SAP-based order to cash process including downstream process integrations including financial systems 5+ years of experience in SAP SD module within the Order to Cash processProficient knowledge of configuration of SAP SD moduleOrder Management configurationsPricing configurationsMaster data (products, customers, suppliers, materials) configurationsListings and exclusionsAvailability checks/ReservationsIntercompany/Cross-company relationships and setups3rd party processingExperience with configuration of SD module with IMGGood understanding in any of the following areas:ABAP - Object Oriented development.Experience working with user-exitsExperience debuggingExperience with Sapscript, Smartforms, Adobe Forms (plus)Experience developing remote function calls and creating services for RFCs and generating WSDLs.Experience calling external services.Proven track record of successful, full-scale SAP ECC implementation projects from a leadership and development perspective, preferably using the Agile development methodologySAP SD integration experience with CRM, EDI, or third-party logistics tools as a plus.Self-motivated, team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.Past experience working with the offshore and ability to administrate the offshore deliveryStrong problem solving and analytical skills.Hands-on focus on system usability, user training where applicable, and customer satisfaction.Comfortable and competent in developing technical design specifications, documenting system and business processes from inception to completion to build organization and system knowledgebases.Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with internal/external customers.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.Experience with programming or configuration SAP FICO moduleSAP S/4 or Fiori experience a plusAdditional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $110,000 - 140,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
