The Lead Application Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of both new and existing applications. The position involves coding, programming, documentation, testing, and debugging. This role is crucial for the successful development and maintenance of applications, requiring a blend of technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in Java, Springboot, and cloud technologies, and will be capable of handling complex tasks and delivering high-quality results consistently.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop and maintain applications using programming languages and technologies.
•    Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements or new products.
•    Interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.

Qualifications:
•    Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
•    Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in software development.
•    Proficiency in Java, Springboot (Rest, MVS, Security), Spring Integration, Kubernetes, MySQL Server, Couchbase.

Technical Skills and Experience:
•    Over 3 years of experience in developing cloud-native applications using Java/Springboot.
•    Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
•    Experience in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
•    Solid hands-on technical experience in Java, Springboot, and cloud deployment.
•    Conceptual knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Couchbase, bitbucket, Kafka, Postman, Jenkins.

Core Competencies:
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to stretch working hours when necessary and work independently to drive issues to closure.
•    Effective handling of multiple and complex work assignments, consistently delivering high-quality work.
•    Perform application analysis and propose technical solutions for enhancements.
•    Create necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases.
•    Handle production issues during the warranty period, ensuring SLAs are met.

Our Lead Applications Development, earns between $116,700 - $196,100 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
