Lead AR Technician/AR Program Lead
Under the supervision of the site leadership team, the AR Program Lead will ensure AR floor health by managing the overall AR Program for their assigned site. Ensure AR Floor Health meets the expectations of the network while promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for day-to-day AR functions at assigned site, including daily management of work orders, metrics, and ensuring all AR floors are operationalManage operational relationships with support teams and internal operations to drive increases to Robotic asset performancePerform Tech PM audits to ensure quality of work and compliance with work ordersAssist in the execution of achieving targeted metrics and KPI’s including but not limited to: OPMT, APMT, drive disablements, drive/charger uptime %, AR related WO’s, operation rolling readiness, floor cleaning PM completion, AFM response time, and daily fiducial auto-cuts Facilitate the return of SRBRS badges and batteries for repairLead daily stand up meeting for safety issues, good work habits, and other AR topicsLead SRBRS and H-Drive firmware updatesDocument and facilitate the return of torque analyzers, for yearly calibration requirements. Ensure documentation of all torque devices for daily checks, prior to usageSupervise any out of scope work or projects pertaining to AR, such as but not limited to: Hypercube expansion and fiducial cover installationResearch the installer of misaligned fiducials. Investigate lost equipment including pods/drivesPromote a safe working environment by ensuring all technicians are trained in and comply with AR floor safety rules. Ensure all proper paperwork is filled by all technicians, including but not limited to: Escort forms, PTP, LOTO, MTHA. Ensure all technicians are trained to escalate unsafe issues while using Stop Work Authority when necessaryDrive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple work groups with competing prioritiesMonitor AR parts and inventory. Perform weekly IRDR audits on AR inventory and follow up on discrepancies. Order parts that are not auto ordered, based on inventory countsMonitor PMs and ensure timely completion. Stay proactive, anticipate bottlenecks, and monitor for upcoming work orders. Ensure all AR hours are accurately recorded in EAMEnsure AR work areas are organized, toolboxes are properly stocked, and parts are put awayUpdate next shift on status of AR floor during pass down, including what was completed during the shift and pending work ordersAct as the subject matter expert for AR floors and be first line of contact for issues and questionsConduct AR troubleshooting to find resolution to issues as they arise while putting measures in place to prevent future occurrences of similar issuesContribute to and support site innovation initiatives. Proactively recognize and drive opportunities to simplify processesWork closely with site RMEPs to optimize PMs and DTW strategyAssist sites as necessary with developing solutions to improve the safety of equipment and processesAttend any meeting or calls required for AR-RME. Examples: Floor Health Deep Dive and RME/HSE SyncRotate shifts as needed to ensure proper training and execution of AR teamBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree, Technical certification or 2+ years of experience in mechanical/reliability engineering and maintenanceMinimum of one year experience in a lead or supervisory roleFAST Trainer CertifiedUP Trainer CertifiedH-Drive Trainer CertifiedPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to lead and influence others in a technical role and interact with all levels of managementBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) Completion of an applicable technical training program Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, and have excellent communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently or on a teamBasic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and internet usage and navigationTechnical understanding of: robotics system components/controls, HMI components, control network components, motion control, and standard electrical componentsRobust troubleshooting and data analytical skillsStrong collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skillsC&W Services is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
