This hybrid position, based in Atlanta, GA, involves leading architectural design and planning for a variety of projects, including higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets. Responsibilities Innovative Design Solutions: Lead the architectural design and planning for projects within the higher education, K-12, healthcare, governmental, and general commercial markets.Code Compliance: Conduct comprehensive code analysis and ensure strict adherence to industry standards and regulations. Oversee code conformance, ensuring that all designs meet or exceed established guidelines.Quality Assurance: Oversee and participate in peer reviews to maintain high-quality architectural standards.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients, to develop innovative and practical architectural solutions.Client Engagement: Prepare and present project proposals, design concepts, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders.Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and team members.Regulatory Awareness: Stay up-to-date with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry trends, and ensure project compliance.Field Work: Perform field verifications/site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction.What We Offer:

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited architectural program.Professional Experience: A Registered Architect (RA) license in good standing with 8+ years of relevant experience.Leadership Skills: The ability to lead a project team and manage the workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.Technical Expertise: Proven experience in code analysis and understanding of building codes and regulations (such as egress, fire-resistant assemblies, occupancy, and building types).Software Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as Revit and AutoCAD.Field Experience: Experience performing field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages.
