As a **Lead Architect** at JPMorgan Chase within the **Corporate Sector - Infrastructure Platforms - Capacity Analytics** team, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals. We are building a large scale, modern, resilient and truly global technology platform to run critical business capabilities. **Job responsibilities** + Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs + Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy + Participates in architecture governance bodies + Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologies + Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems + Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others + Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems + Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + Formal training or certification on infrastructure architecture principles and 5+ years applied experience + In-depth knowledge of infrastructure architecture principles. + Proven track record in architecting data-intensive applications using modern tools and technologies like Pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries. + Experience in analyzing data to derive insights through a multi-step process involving data collection, cleaning, exploration, analysis, and visualization. + Proficient in Prometheus, Grafana, Tableau, and other visualization tools. + Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. + Advanced coding and problem-solving skills in one or more programming languages like Java or Python. + Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods. + Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. + Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). **Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills** + Practical cloud-native experience. + Knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines. + Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture. + In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems. \#LI-RB3 JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
