The World Headquarters for the Dallas Cowboys, the Star is the most comprehensive NFL training facility in the country. In addition to serving as the home of the entire football operation and practice fields, The Ford Center at The Star also includes a multipurpose, 12,000 seat, indoor stadium that will provide facilities for use by the Dallas Cowboys, City of Frisco and Frisco ISD football and soccer games. The facility includes Cowboys Club: a workspace and membership club connecting work, leisure and culture for a select community of influencers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders with a passion for the Dallas Cowboys.
The Lead Bartender is based out of The Star/Cowboys Club in Frisco, TX and reports to the Management team. The Lead Bartender plays a key role in maintaining the high standards of Cowboys Club by providing leadership, creativity, and expertise in bar operations while delivering a world-class guest experience.
Essential Job Functions
Lead and supervise the bartending team to ensure consistent service excellence and adherence to all operational standards. Assist with training and mentoring bartenders to foster skill development and cohesive team environment. Create and maintain a seasonal cocktail menu, ensuring alignment with club culture and member preferences. Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation, to maintain cost controls and minimize waste. Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety regulations. Provide an engaging and hospitable atmosphere for members, offering expert knowledge on cocktails, spirits, beer and wine. Uphold all standards for the proper service of alcohol as set forth by Legends Hospitality and TABC regulations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for club members. Advanced knowledge of cocktail techniques, flavor balancing, and innovative mixology trends. Deep understanding of spirits, beer, and wine, including production processes and proper service techniques. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle high-pressure situations effectively. Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, schedules, and member expectations.Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of bartending experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. Current TABC and Food Handler’s certifications. Proven experience in menu development and crafting signature cocktails. Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays. Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, and beverages, including production processes, regions, and tasting notes. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to work in a team environment High level of attention to detail and organization Strong leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or membership-based establishment.Physical Requirements:
