What you will be doing?
The Lead Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for assisting BHT supervisor with the coordination of BHTs on shift and their daily responsibilities, effectively training new BHTs on job duties, audits, assist with coordination of client outings, and act as a BHT when on the floo r.
What tasks are required?
Essential Functions:
Job Type: Full Time; hours determined by Facility
Assist with coordination of coordinating admissions, discharges, client activities, bag searches and rounds with on shift BHTs
Monitor completion of on shift paperwork, assist with new employee training, and liaison between BHTs and BHT supervisor
Train new staff on position responsibilities, procedures, and paperwork
Ensure that all incident reports are handled properly by end of shift adhering to the unusual incident report outline
Assist BHT supervisor with planning and coordinating with Clinical for client outing and proper staffing for activities
Ensure compliance with the AMA/ATA procedure by all BHTs
Assist BHT sup er visor with audits of rounds, admissions, discharges, AMA/ATA procedures, and staff training needs
Special Projects as needed.
Positively promotes current organization to prospective clients and employees.
Non- Essential Functions:
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
