Job Summary:
Are you a natural leader with a passion for making a difference in behavioral health? Join our team as a Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
In this role, you will provide guidance and direction to other Behavioral Health Technicians, oversee daily client activities, assist in orientation, and ensure medication policies are followed. You'll also de-escalate crisis situations, document client activities, facilitate group sessions, and complete all necessary documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and direction to other Behavioral Health Technicians
Oversee daily client activities and ensure adherence to rules
Assist in orientation of client population and medication policies
De-escalate crisis situations and document client activities
Facilitate group sessions and complete required documentation
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or related field; or
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma with two (2) years of responsible employment history
Supervisory Requirements:
Provide leadership and guidance to Behavioral Health Technicians
Monitor program issues and communicate changes within the department
Reinforce team approach and report pertinent information to immediate supervisor
Additional Requirements (Adolescent Program Only):
Receive training on adolescent behavior, family dynamics, communication skills, etc., within the first year of employment
