Lead Beverage Cart Attendant - Giants Ridge

Compensation Amount:

13.13 USD Hourly

Job Summary:

The Lead Beverage Cart Attendant assists management in all aspects of the beverage cart operations at both golf courses including food, beverage, equipment and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives. In addition, this position assists in cultivating a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensures complete guest satisfaction at all times.  Handle guests’ complaints and solves them according to customer service standards. Monitors and supervises assigned areas of cart barns to ensure quality and housekeeping standards. Assists in the recruiting, supervising, scheduling, disciplining, reviewing and directing of beverage cart staff at the direction of the Director of Food & Beverage. Trains staff for peak performance and monitor’s staff development. Maintains and ensures safe facility environment including standards for equipment, housekeeping, sanitation, compliance with uniform policy, cash handling procedures and employee hygiene.  Notifies the Director of Food & Beverage of all unusual events, circumstances or other safety or quality control issues. Assists the Director of Food & Beverage with inventory management by counting, stocking and rotating inventory of department.  Communicates any inventory discrepancies or needs in a timely manner. Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately to management. Performs other duties as assigned by management. 

SKILLS AND KNOWEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

High school diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required. TIPS Certification or ability to obtain and maintain, required. At least two years’ experience in beverage cart operations, preferred. Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of guests and coworkers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by guests and coworkers in English. Excellent organizational skills, able to perform under time constrains and deadlines with attention to detail.  Ability to problem-solve and act as a team leader. Ability to interact with a wide variety of people, including guests and coworkers. Valid driver’s license required. Computer proficiency with the ability to use common business software applications such as Microsoft Office. Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, including ability to consistently handle monetary transactions. 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.  Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Lifting, carrying and pushing up to twenty-five (25) pound regularly, thirty (30) to thirty-five (35) pounds frequently, and up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally. Ability to stand for the entire work day. Withstanding temperature extremes in outdoor environments. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays according to department needs. Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
