The Lead BHP Supervisor is responsible for the clinical oversight of the Section 28 Program including clinical personnel oversight and management. The Lead BHP Supervisor is knowledgeable of industry specific clinical trends and partners with associated business development and field support leadership. The Lead BHP Supervisor is accountable to all federal, state and local contracts, programs, Maxim requirements, and where applicable or required by state regulations may be the Administrator.
The Lead BHP Supervisor is responsible for managing, directing and assigning Clinical Supervisors - Behavioral to specific client populations and other duties as necessary for client management including care coordination, orientation, clinical quality initiatives, and other duties as required by contract and/or programs.
The Lead BHP Supervisor will also be responsible for the clinical management of a caseload of Section 28 Clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly manages a Section 28 caseload, ensuring quality outcomes and compliance with State and Company RegulationsProvides clinical leadership and oversight to Section 28 line of businessPartners with respective Business Development and Field Support leadershipLeads and directs the office-based quality management program in collaboration with Business DevelopmentEnsures appropriate plans of correction are developed, and monitors for completionManages client and customer relationships through excellent customer servicePartners with Business Development and Recruiting teams to support appropriate levels of staffing for business lines with qualified and skilled BHP direct care staffCollaborates with Business Development on marketing and business decisionsEngages BHP direct care staff in feedback discussions regarding their recommended development and job satisfactionInvestigates BHP direct care staff concerns and issues, assesses job performance and provides coaching, counseling and disciplinary action when appropriateLeads and manages BHP Supervisors - assessing performance and providing development opportunities based on quality metrics and competenciesIn collaboration with the Clinical and Business Development teams, analyzes issues and trends by following the Root Cause Analysis processIdentifies process challenges and develops solution for improvementRemains current with industry regulations including federal, state, local contract and program requirementsParticipates in corporate initiatives as neededAccountable to all federal, state, local contract and program, and Maxim requirementsServes on the Office Advisory Board for the Section 28 ProgramPerforms other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of two years of experience in the business line setting (e.g. home, community, schools).At least one year of supervisory experience is preferredExperience supervising behavioral services for toddlers, children, and adults preferredMust meet all federal, state, local contract and program requirements, in addition tointernal certifications and training, as requiredExperience in quality management and budget management preferredExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated leadership skills, with experience in hiring, training and employee developmentExperience in regulatory or payer audits or other required contractsComputer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)Proficiency in the English language required Maxim Benefits:\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
