As a Lead Building Automation Field Service Technician here\nat Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and\neffective operation of building automation systems. You will be responsible for\ninstalling, maintaining, and troubleshooting these systems to optimize building\nperformance and occupant comfort. Your technical expertise and attention to\ndetail will contribute to the success of our customers' facilities. You will\nreport directly to our Technical Operations Manager, and you'll work out of our\nRichmond, VA location, serving customers throughout central VA.
In\nthis role, you will have a direct impact on the energy efficiency,\nsustainability, and overall functionality of our customers' buildings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
YOU\nMUST HAVE
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation or related fieldStrong technical knowledge and expertise in building automation systemsFamiliarity with industry standards and protocols (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks)Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsStrong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationshipsWE VALUEAssociate's degree or certification in a relevant fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsContinuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry\nadvancementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsResults-oriented approach and ability to work independentlyStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities
