Job Summary:
As the Lead Building Maintenance, you will have the ability to make competent decisions while thinking of the customers and resorts interest at all times. This position can cover many departments pertaining to repairs upkeep and preventative maintenance as requested. Vail resorts core values are necessary to succeed in this function.

Expected Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.99 / hour

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that company assets are maintained and repaired
Provide leadership and direction to other maintenance techs.
Help in all areas of Building Maintenance work, interior and exterior.
Prioritize work based on the needs of team, guests and the business
Make recommendations and implement corrective actions to improve facilities
Exhibit strong customer service skills
Lead building maintenance team members, report to Building Maintenance Manager
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
3+ years of construction trade, and/or facilities maintenance (or equivalent based on education and experience).
High School graduate or equivalent - required
Experience in general carpentry, dry wall, flooring, painting, building system installations including doors & door hardware, windows, flashing, roofing, masonry, tile, refinishing.
Experience in computer programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel), Building Automation Systems and controls a plus.
Familiarity with electronic building access systems (card, FOB, keypad), programming & troubleshooting.
Must maintain a professional appearance and deliver exceptional guest service.
Must be able to work a steady but flexible schedule with seasonal weekend, night, and holiday requirements.
Must be comfortable working outside in changing seasonal weather conditions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and work from ladders up to 20’, work in utility spaces.
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.99. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
