Role Summary & Role Description:
Chief Data Office (CDO) - Global Technology Solutions at State Street has a mandate to deliver and govern Data Architecture and Technology programs across the firm. CDO is rolling out multiple initiatives and operating model changes to execute these initiatives and generate value for our internal and external clients.
We are looking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the growth charter for our CDO organization.
As Lead Business Analyst for CDO:
Collaborate with different stake holders across the enterprise to deliver multiple workstreams/initiatives for CDOShould have strong understanding & experience in the Data Platform implementation working with various stakeholder groups on end-to-end data pipeline use cases and regulatory remediation initiativesLead requirements gathering, analysis and elicitation for multiple Data Platform initiatives, including Data Modelling, Data Lineage, Data Quality and Data Reporting.Map business data requirements to their sources, and suggest data models for further data consumption and distribution Develop BRD/user stories, business and data procedures, source to target mappings, DQ rules and related documentation for the data products being developed [including operations, user guides, functional specs etc.] Collaborate with Business stakeholder, IT/data engineering team members, business users and implementation team along the project lifecycle, understanding the impacts that may have on downstream use cases, analytical models and data product/process deliverablesDeliver in complex deadline-oriented environment and multi-task on multiple projects concurrently with little supervisionProactively identify the risks, challenges & impacts of the business uses and guide the team with the strategic roadmapsCreate and manage delivery roadmaps, risks and dependencies, track progress and remove hurdles to achieve OKRs and milestones. Communicate effectively and provide updates to CDO leadershipCore/Must have skills:
Strong experience in the Data Modelling, Data Discovery with operational & functional knowledge to cater to user & regulatory requirements.Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analysis on data and meta-data.Framework knowledge of Visualization/Business Intelligence tools ( i.e. Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI )Agile SDLC processes for manage and deliver requirements across sprints and releases Clear understanding of dependencies and support requirements from various data pipeline functionsExcellent communication and articulation skills, proven Stakeholder Management and strong executive presence15+ years of overall techno-functional experience.Good to have skills:
Knowledge in Global standards – BASEL. GDPRData Modelling SkillsAgile/Project managementWork Schedule: Hybrid
