Lead Business Developer
Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is looking for a highly motivated Lead Business Developer to join our Wolfram Solutions team. The company is looking for a motivated individual with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to sell our consulting capabilities to corporate and government clients. Responsibilities + Selling our consulting capabilities to major corporations and government agencies, developing contacts, pitching our capabilities and closing deals + Working closely with the Wolfram Solutions leadership team, our project technical leads and executive decision makers at our client companies + Interacting with the Wolfram Research Sales team to coordinate licenses and other products Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree + Sales experience + Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work independently and with a team + Experience with finding and landing new leads + Familiarity with cutting-edge IT developments, including the capabilities and limitations of recent AIs Preferred qualifications + 5+ years of sales experience + Sales experience in the software industry + Post graduate degree in a technical or business-related field + Familiarity with Wolfram products Location: Champaign, Illinois, or remote Job Type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Permanent Reporting to: Director of Wolfram Solutions Salary (for eligible candidates residing in the United States): For candidates based in the United States, the base salary for this position is expected to be up to $120,000 per year. Your exact offer and on-target earnings may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
