WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As Lead Business HR Manager for Nike Korea reporting into the HR Director based in Seoul, Korea, you’ll provide human resources expertise and consulting to employees and business leaders to maximize organization effectiveness and help activate the organization for growth.  You will work closely with key partners in business teams and other key functions to understand the business priorities and deliver a full spectrum of HR programs and services to build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals and teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an innovative HR practitioner who has the capability to drive organisational effectiveness outcomes while providing trusted advice to stakeholders. The candidate is expected to have HR Generalist experience with a strong understanding of Talent Management, Talent Programs, HR operations and HR Planning.

Ideally, we are seeking candidates with:

At least 8 years HR experience with around 3 years’ experience in HR business partnering ideally with the industry experience with an extensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape.Experience in areas like organisational development, talent acquisition and management, total rewards and employee/labour relations as well as ability to monitor and address compliance issues and opportunities.Proven mindset and interpersonal skills to work in a matrix environment to implement, leverage, and improve HR initiatives, systems, policies, and procedures.Results driven, able to handle multiple tasks with proven ability to calmly, confidently, and confidentially engage with leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to address opportunities and needs.Experience in HR metrics and data to story-tell and provide decision support.Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a diverse team across multiple levels and across teams. Fluent both in Korean and English

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As a Lead Business HR Manager, you are responsible for partnering with the HRBP Director to execute HR initiatives and interventions aligned to strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

Prioritize Employee Engagement - always sensing and listening to employeesPartner with business leaders to leverage culture to engage and energize retail store athletesDrive adoption of workforce strategies and solutions (e.g. workforce planning)Provide insights on functional depth of talent and actively drives talent management activitiesCoaching and developing managers to expand their people management capabilities and practicesSteward data accuracy and adoption of tools and systemsWork with Employee Relations and HR Operations & Services teams to resolve employee queries and issues as appropriate
