Lead Business Systems Analyst - Store Accounting Modernization

We are seeking a highly analytical Product Owner who will be responsible for driving the modernization and enhancement of our Store Accounting system. This role will serve as the critical bridge between our technical team and business stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years of experience leading complex technical efforts, servant leadership qualities, and a desire to continuously learn.

ResponsibilitiesServe as product owner for highly complex products; convey the product vision, prioritize the product backlog, interface with the scrum team, own the product solution set, and communicate to product leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders. Work with teams to identify risks, remove bottlenecks and impediments, execute schedules, and refine sprint backlogs. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to document business and system requirements (i.e., security, capacity, regulatory, scalability, reliability, recovery, and audit), create user stories, develop acceptance criteria, and refine product backlog for highly complex technology solutions under general guidance; ensure work performed aligns with business strategy. Conduct business process analysis, identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable insights.Create and maintain documentation, including requirements, user stories, flow diagrams, data models, and business process models.Lead team in the development of project plans, estimation of projects, management of projects, monitoring project performance, and development of implementation plans. Understand and facilitate adherence to processes that enable project delivery, such as system access, information protection, hardware/software procurement, vendor engagements, and oversight of supplemental contractors. Act as a coach and mentor to other associates. Perform as expert on assigned systems, serve as product contact for system issues, and perform problem resolution on highly complex problems.
