Mission of the Role:
o Coordinate, maintain, implement supplier commercial agreement and global categories
Strategy in China manufacture site.
o Search and involve the local supplier base with competitive on the quality, cost, delivery,
Service and technical, especially for China local business.

Key Objectives of this Role:
• Sourcing Selection :
o Conduct supplier benchmarking exercise and commercial analysis
o Send RFQ's to preferred suppliers based on Commodity Strategy
o Conduct analysis on supplier quotes based on pricing, quality, delivery and commercial ratings
o Visit and assess potential suppliers
o Negotiate and issue sourcing contract with the suppliers
• Supplier Base Relationship Management and Productivity Negotiations
o Negotiate, Synergize with global category team for annual price reductions with the supply base to support company’s materials budget
o Conduct supplier business reviews and manage supplier relationships effectively
o Support internal team to drive execution of TQCM initiatives provided by suppliers
o Negotiate Payment Terms improvement, Disputed Obsolescence Costs, Charge Back, EOL/LTB, vendor tooling management, legacy supplier management and so on
o Supply constraint handling – disaster, tight supply, global allocation

Key Year One Deliverables:
o Understand and document product platform architectures.
o Summarize plastics (Functional, Decorative), rubber market outlook both global and China base. Localization for China region business fitting & resource storage for global business
o Cost Model/best practice analysis establish
o Develop relationships with plastic and rubber sales and business unit leaders

Technical Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor or above degree in relevant field or equivalent job experience
• 7+ years of experience in automotive industry, functional of commodity/program purchasing, supply management and procurement
• Sound knowledge in the Automotive commodities, prefer experience in Mechanical Components such as plastic
• Strong team work and result focus oriented
