This Sourcing Specialist will manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Positions requiring thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

As a Lead Buyer, you will be responsible for:

Placing and follow-up on Pos including managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution.Managing problems and schedule changes plus updating ERP.Leading negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks. Ensuring supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements.Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3+ yrs of buying/procurement experience in manufacturing settingHave good business/financial acumen, proficient in working with customers and suppliers
