Lead Cabin Attendant | KVNY
Position Summary The Lead Cabin Attendant serves as the first point of contact for scheduling, administrative, training, and operational support for the cabin attendants. This position ensures that our standards, systems and procedures are consistent by facilitating with training activities, providing line checks, and flying as an active cabin attendant. In collaboration with the Inflight Service Management, the Lead Cabin Attendant models and encourages a culture of support where community, service, and safety are of the upmost importance. Duties and Responsibilities + Point person for Inflight-related needs for all cabin attendants + Maintains the flight schedule and compiles monthly on-demand flight reports + Supports training of cabin attendants to include line checks, service, safety, and general training + Aids in recruiting and onboarding new cabin attendants + Assists with content for Homebase and Viva Engage Intranet Page + Assists in internal and external audits regarding Cabin Attendant requirements and training records. + Ensures that company communication is acknowledged and adhered to + Assists with ensuring that client profiles are regularly updated. + Provides Cabin Service on various aircrafts to accommodate the Clay Lacy flight schedule + Facilitate and organize Inflight needs such as sourcing and preparing the aircraft with amenities, catering, and special requests. Ensure amenities are fresh; aircraft is clean, organized, and ready for departure or showing. + Provide and submit trip documents such as expenses and surveys at an appropriate time + Support remote FBOs by instilling Inflight Systems, organizing storage for new and existing aircraft, and implementing Inflight standardization. + Review and uphold policies and procedures + Other responsibilities as requested or assigned Competencies and Skills + Able to work in a high pace industry + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Enjoy a high degree of customer interaction + Able to work a flexible schedule and work on-call shifts to support the 24/7 nature of flight schedule + Ability to provide excellent service to clients or owners + Self-motivated, able to work independently and with minimal direction + Pro-active and creative problem solver + Ability to preserve a positive demeanor, maintain composure during high stress situations. + Take on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm. + Work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. + Communicate a clear understanding of the needs of varied audiences and modes. + Gain the trust and confidence of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity. + Make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. + Hold self and others accountable to commitments. + Use feedback and reflection to gain self-awareness of strengths and weaknesses. Essential Job Functions + Able to comply with all safety requirements necessary to perform the job safely. + Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. + Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients at all times. + Complete Clay Lacy Aviation and other job-related training. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement them in a safe, efficient manner. + Must be available to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. + Must be available to be “on call” unless on a scheduled day off. + Ability to work without direct management supervision. + Must be able to reason, analyze, and solve problems. + Must be able to communicate clearly with clients, leadership and others. + Basic computer skills. + Always work safely and effectively. + Must work well with others. + Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a distracting environment. Travel Expectations Travel can be as high as 25% of work time. Travel may occur seven days per week with possible prolonged overnight stays in national and international locations. A current passport and other possible travel documentation may be required. Qualifications Required Education and Experience + Minimum three years Cabin Attendant experience + Emergency Training- certificate from approved training facility completed within the past 12 months. Training must include CPR/ First Aid + Food Handling Certification Eligibility Qualifications + Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License along with a reliable vehicle.
