Description We are seeking a proficient Lead Cable Technician to join our IT consulting team based in Easley, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage a crew, ensuring efficient operation and successful completion of tasks. You will also be the primary liaison for your team, collaborating closely with them to oversee the installation and maintenance of cable systems. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Directing and managing the cable technician crew • Supervising the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband and data networks • Leveraging Cisco Technologies to enhance network performance • Performing AB Testing to verify the functionality of Apple Devices • Interpreting BluePrints to guide cable installation • Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations • Providing updates to the field manager on crew performance and project progress • Maintaining an extensive understanding of Cable Television systems and their installation • Adapting to emerging technologies and updating skills as required. • Be comfortable traveling throughout the Southeast up to 50% Requirements • Extensive knowledge and experience in Broadband technology • Familiarity with Cisco Technologies to ensure network efficiency • Proficiency in managing and maintaining Data Networks • Experience in AB Testing to optimize system performance • Ability to troubleshoot and manage Apple Devices • Proficient in using BluePrint software for design and planning • Expertise in Cable Installation, ensuring proper setup and connectivity • Deep understanding of Cable Television systems and related technology Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
