A Day in the Life of a Lead Team Member with Heritage House:
Subject Matter Expert for food production and food regulation Act as a driver in the areas of program implementation and compliance Provide service expertise and driving operational excellence Properly execute all standards and programs in required and targeted timeframe Provide support to department leadership in new hire onboarding for cafe and dining room positions Ensure all recipes are accurate, available, and followed in the cafe Ensures that all daily production required tasks are completed as required. This includes areas in safety, quality, and productivity Ensures team members comply with State, OSHA, and WesleyLife requirements Provide team members with checklists, guidelines, and other necessary training materials to ensure proper procedures and processes are followed Foster a stable and competent workforce Assist with enhancements to productivity and efficient operations in the department Be a leader by example, must complete monthly required training on time and remain flexible with work schedule to meet the departmental needs Adheres to financial targets within the departmentJob Specific
Assist with truck Compose list of necessary items for truck order by 9AM the day of order Oversee storage closets in specific area Complete Full Count Entries Fill in for call ins Oversee and maintain the ice cream station and drink stations in the dining area Assist with dining room service Assist with main kitchen prep/baking needs Assist with cafe by assisting or finding assistance during peak timesThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 / hour. Starting pay rate will be based on years of experience.
