The Lead Resident Assistant @ Byron Park meets community residents’ needs by helping with activities of daily living and coordinating services to residents.
This is a full-time position, Sunday-Thursday, 2pm-10:30pm.
Pay range: $20-23/hr
Hiring bonus: $500
What will I do every day?
Observe and monitor residents for any changes in condition Assure distribution of meal trays and assist with serving and clearing of all tables after mealsAssist or provide supervision for residents performing activities of daily livingPerform the following tasks: vital signs, weight, diabetic testing and/or insulin injections, medication assistance, ambulation, and other activitiesSupport and lead resident-centered wellness program activitiesMonitor medication cart/storage on a weekly basisImplement required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associatesAs well as perform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Bring a smile to work every dayBe a great team playerHigh school education preferredNursing assistant course a plusMust be 21 years of age Minimum of 2 years experience in Senior Living community is requiredSpecial Requirements/Certifications I may need?
First Aid certification and CPR, if requiredMust be able to meet state training requirements and/or certificationsNursing Assistant Certification (CNA) a plus
