Provides leadership and direction for category managementApply deep and comprehensive understanding of centralized sourcing and category management theories, practices, and systems as well as the changing business environmentDemonstrate an understanding of Sourcing and Procurement leading practicesLead and Participate in client meetings /strategy sessionsDevelops and executes strategy to achieve key business objectivesCreate and maintain supplier performance metricsPerform complex tasks with wide latitude for determining appropriate processes, requiring limited guidance or instructionIdentify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating riskNegotiate complex MSAsLead complex RFPs - those with implementations of greater than 1 year, complex dependencies or integrations, significant business change, etc. Prepare and monitor the sourcing pipeline by business unit vertical. Review on a quarterly basis the pipeline and status with the business owner and leadership teamManage and monitor the contract lifecycle via sourcing tools and processesProvide guidance and training to less experienced associates
