The Lead Chemical Field Engineer position for GPA&H Technologies provides critical support to Honeywell UOP Adsorbents customers. The primary accountability of the position is to conduct breakthrough testing using specialized analytical equipment at customer sites. In addition, the specialist will be responsible for maintaining the analytical equipment and laboratory where the equipment is calibrated, as well as coordinating shipment of this equipment to/from client locations. The specialist will also be accountable to shipping samples to global Honeywell UOP laboratories for analysis. The Specialist will have regular interaction with external customers onsite, in teleconferences and in support of other field specialists. YOU MUST HAVE + Bachelor’s degree + Experience operating laboratory analytical equipment and their equivalent in a refinery setting, such as moisture analyzers, mercury analyzers, CO2 analyzers + Experience shipping and receiving equipment to and from both domestic and international client locations. + Experience calibrating analyzer equipment + Willing to travel extensively (expected travel ~50%) WE VALUE + Works well in a team environment and with minimal guidance + Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills + Proficient with Unisim design tools + Can communicate well with customers (internal and external). Strong written communication for writing and issuing reports directly to customers. + Can effectively multi-task + Knowledgeable of UOP Adsorbent technologies + Possesses certification for international hazardous good shipping, or able to take training for proper certification + BOSEIT certification for occasional short-term (~1 week) off-shore assignments, or willingness to train for proper certification Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
