Lead Chief of Staff

Your current boss will hate to see you go! **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Tell stories through the creation of PowerPoint decks and written communications that are appealing to the eye and easily consumed by the target audience. + Be the gas that keeps the team running with engaging town halls, external speaker presentations, brown bag sessions and shared learnings across the team throughout the year. + Exhibit a keen sense of and ability to represent direct leadership brand and voice. + Collaborate with direct reports to SVP to deliver weekly executive leadership updates for each area of the business that are both concise and detailed enough to answer questions before they’re asked. + Direct traffic and prioritize requests for the team; Shepherd requests that do not have an immediate owner until they are mature enough to be taken on by the appropriate team member. + Inspire operational excellence and encourage performance mindset through thought leadership and infusion of fresh ideas that can be broadly implemented in team members’ day-to-day. + Foster an atmosphere of trust, value and openness; share new growth opportunities widely and encourage the spirit of mentorship. + Shape and grow a group identity for the team, enriching the employee experience and #LifeAtATT through service opportunities, engagement events, awards and recognition. + Manage HR related tasks with appropriate level of confidentiality and partner with HR Business Partner to ensure the maximum value of the relationship is realized. + Engage with Finance to manage initiatives that affect multiple areas of the team; ability to negotiate the best solution for the team while meeting Finance/Accounts Payable requirements is essential. + Assist in the screening process of new hires and help to build the most talented, diverse marketing team possible. + Proactively identify issues that could impact the successful execution of commitments; differentiate between signal and noise, then elevate issues about which the VP needs to be aware; frame ideas to resolve the problem/mitigate the risk. + Lead special projects that help progress the team (small scale and large scale, as assigned or requested) **YOU’LL KNOW IT’S THE RIGHT FIT IF YOU** + Prioritize and reprioritize masterfully and with limited direction, including work for self and for team with keen anticipation of business and leadership needs. + Find Bright Spots and make more of them! Typically reports to Senior Vice President. Education: Preferred bachelors degree and or 5 years or more experience in field. Experience: Typically 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in field and or certification may be required.
