TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Lead Civil Engineer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
  Oversee a civil engineering team for various project development and construction tasks. Engage in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting processes. Track key material quantities and provide detailed analysis and projections. Conduct and validate engineering calculations, specify necessary equipment, and address complex engineering challenges. Ensure project documentation meets requirements and resolve any inconsistencies. Create and refine project specifications and design criteria. Prepare and review estimates, schedules, progress reports, and labor forecasts. Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including management, clients, and contractors. Assist in drafting technical documents, including studies, reports, contracts, and recommendations. Monitor and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely delivery. Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  Accredited Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 15 years of work-related experience. Experience in mining projects. Strong communication skills with various audiences, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Ability to produce concise technical reports and presentation materials. Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner. Proficiency in word processing, email, spreadsheet, and electronic presentation software.
