**Overview**
Hello humankindness Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. **Responsibilities**
The Lead Clinic Coordinator role serves the purpose of providing daily oversight and coordination of the administrative and workflow processes within the faculty practice clinics. The Lead Clinic Coordinator provides input of work priorities; organization of work processes and leads the implementation of any new services a faculty practice may undertake. This role provides guidance to staff and assists with daily operational needs such as staff coverage. Promotes cross training to enhance staff coverage and smooth operations.
+ Oversight of front desk activities including guiding staff to ensure clinic is running effective and productivity measures are met. Utilizes effective problem solving techniques.
+ Works with leadership and ensures chain of command is activated as circumstances warrant
+ Training of new employees
+ Act as an escalation point for denials, and other circumstances as needed
+ Charge entry as needed
+ Exhibits cost containment for office supplies and services
+ Ensures all SJHMC and SJMG policies and procedures including HIPPA, HR and PBS policies, charge reconciliation, etc are followed.
+ Complies with policies and assists with readiness for regulatory body oversight visits including Joint Commission, AzDHS, etc.
+ Ensures office is ready for clinic, including medical records prepped and staffing levels are appropriate for volume
+ Obtain authorizations for office visits, schedule and obtain authorizations for tests and understand and communicate required preparation for tests.
+ Obtain and issue referrals for ancillary, consult, radiology or lab visits as well as receive approval for medication formularies, durable medical equipment, home health care and other items and services as needed.
+ Coordinate OR, anesthesia, pre-op labs and imaging, authorizations, and physician schedule for surgeries. Ensure patients are advised of surgery date/time and any pre-op advisories. Send required patient information to OR prior to surgery.
+ Complete full patient registration in IDX when registering new patients. Ensure all patient information is updated and current when following up/interacting with patient. Verify insurance eligibility and/or benefits.

**Qualifications**
**MINIMUM**
High School Diploma/GED
College level business coursework
Five years related experience
Demonstrated ability to facilitate workflows, coordinate and organize multiple priorities.
**PREFERRED**
AA degree
Spanish speaking
**Pay Range**
$22.95 - $33.28 /hour
