Lead Clinic RN - Pac Med Hematology Oncology

Provides professional nursing care as directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols; i.e. provides primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with other members of the health care team while integrating the nursing roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case management, and leadership.  Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process when delivering care.

Responsible for workload distribution, on the job training, work review and simple complaint resolution under the direction of supervisor, and in accordance with supervisor's guidelines of at least three other staff members.  Acts as information resource for standard policy and procedural questions.

Required Qualifications:

Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year recent RN experience in a patient care setting or clinical commensurate.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years recent RN experience in a patient care setting. Recent prior experience in an out-patient setting.
