Bilingual (SPANISH) Lead Clinician

 

The Master’s Level Bilingual Therapist works as a staff member of the Student Services Team. Primarily responsible for providing therapeutic services to clients and their families. The Master’s Level Therapist reports to the Clinical Director and/or Director of Student Services or other designated supervisor. When under the Education department, reports to the Principal.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provides individual, family and group therapy as indicated by program needs. Documents all therapy and contacts with clients and other service providers. Maintains clients’ clinical files in a timely and orderly fashion. Maintains the Clinical Training Manual in a timely and orderly fashion, if applicable. Provides crisis intervention as needed. Ensures documentation is completed. Transports clients for therapeutic services when needed. Prepares monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans and discharge summaries.

To be considered, you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Master’s degree in social work, 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience or a master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience/or bachelor’s degree 5 years clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences. Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to 15 provide clinical services in the State where the care provider is located. Have one year of prior experience working in a residential setting for children/NMD, their families and/or the Juvenile Justice/Child Welfare System. Bilingual in Spanish/English required. 

Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
